Dear Residents,

The Village is pleased to be able to provide this website which is designed to keep you up to date on various programs and events.

During the first two years of my administration, there have been many new innovations throughout the Village.  The new Suffolk County Second District Court is open and the expansion of the Village Square Park is now complete.  Our new “olde” street signs, complete with the Village tree logo, are now in place and many new decorative planters, trash receptacles and banners have been installed.  Numerous road projects have been completed, and as always, many more are ongoing.  A Business Improvement District (BID) has been created to help reinvigorate the commercial business area and assist in bringing new businesses to our Village.  Other exciting projects and improvements to the Village are also in the planning stages.

It is our pleasure to continue to co-sponsor and play host to numerous concerts, festivals and community group functions throughout the year.  We encourage all residents to attend and enjoy these Village events.

My administration also encourages all residents to let us know about their concerns, as well as share their ideas and suggestions with us.  Our partnership with the various civic, service and community organizations as well as other concerned citizens and groups demonstrates our "Lindy Pride" in making Lindenhurst one of the best places on Long Island to live, work and enjoy!

Along with the Board of Trustees, our Administrative staff and all the employees of the Village, we look forward to continue to serve the Village to the best of our abilities for the betterment of Lindenhurst.

Warmest Regards,

Mayor Thomas A. Brennan
