Dear
Residents,
Well after a
very hot summer, with very little rainfall, we look
towards a cooler and perhaps, more temperate autumn.
Knowing that winter is just around the corner, we
just want to remind you of some fall events.
The
Lindenhurst Rotary Club will hold its Annual Octoberfest
on the weekend of October 1st through 3rd.
Whether you are a vendor, volunteer or enjoy the
various foods, beverages and amusement rides, we look
forward to the event being a huge success!
With
the cooperation of the Business Improvement District (BID)
and the Mayor’s Beautification Society, we are in the
process of purchasing additional Holiday Decorations!
Without our gazebo, we will make other arrangements
in order to continue our tradition of adorning the Village
Park with Holiday Decorations.
We are certain that the Village Park will be
decorated with its usual Christmas tree, additional
garland and lights, which will add to the celebration of
the season.
The
BID is still focused on working with the merchants and
landlords to fill the vacant stores.
We are awaiting the addition of La Bella Palermo at
101 N. Wellwood Avenue as well as Mangia Una Bella Piatta
at 183 S. Wellwood Avenue.
These two restaurant additions will illustrate just
how seriously both the Administration and the BID are with
continuing the improvement and development of the Business
District.
