Dear
Residents,
Well after
a somewhat rainy summer, so far we are having a very nice
autumn. We
know that winter appears to be just around the corner, so
we just want to remind you of some fall events.
The
Lindenhurst Rotary Club wishes to thank all who
participated in the Annual Octoberfest, whether you were a
vendor, volunteer or enjoyed the various foods, beverages
and amusement rides!
With
the cooperation of the Business Improvement District (BID)
and the Mayor’s Beautification Society, we are in the
process of purchasing additional Holiday Decorations!
The Village Park will be adorned with it’s own
Christmas tree, additional garland and lights, which will
add to the celebration of the season.
The
BID is still focused on working with the merchants and
landlords to fill the vacant stores.
These stores are not empty, they are, however,
filled with possibilities!
With help from the Joint Civics Association, we are
in the continued process of adding more artwork to these
storefronts while we work towards the reinvigoration of
the commercial business area.
During
the next few weeks, there will be many community and local
events. Some
