2011 Commuter Parking Permit Information
Lindenhurst Village Trustee
Michael Lavorata announces that 2011 resident commuter parking
permits are now available at the Village Hall, 430 South
Wellwood Avenue. The
Village Hall is open weekdays (except holidays) from 9:00 a.m.
to 4:30 p.m. Weekend
hours have also been scheduled for the convenience of commuters
as follows:
Saturday, December 18, 2010 from 10 a.m. to noon
Saturday, January 8, 2011 from
10 a.m. to noon
Persons wishing to obtain
resident permits must bring their vehicle registration(s) and
proof of residence (a recent tax or utility bill).
The fee for 2011 commuter parking permits will be $45.00.
Permits may also be obtained by
mail. Applicants
should mail their registration receipt, proof of residence and
the fee of $45.00 to the Village Hall.
The permit and other papers will be promptly returned.
2011 non-resident commuter
parking permits will be allocated by a lottery-type random
drawing at 1:00m p.m., Friday, December 3, 2010.
Applications can be downloaded from our website or
obtained at Village Hall, 430 S. Wellwood Avenue, Lindenhurst,
NY 11757.
Parking permits are required
for the resident and non-resident municipal parking fields north
of the Lindenhurst LIRR station, and for all parking bays under
the LIRR viaduct from Wellwood Avenue to Delaware Avenue.
