LINDENHURST VILLAGE TAXES DUE

Shawn Cullinane, Lindenhurst Village Clerk-Treasurer, would like to remind Lindenhurst Village residents that village taxes are due for payment by Friday, April 1, 2011.  This notice affects only those persons who pay their taxes directly to the village.  If your taxes are paid as part of your mortgage payment, it is the mortgage company’s responsibility to pay them on time.

Taxes can be paid by mail or in person at Village Hall, 430 South Wellwood Avenue between the hours of 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.  Mail must have an official post office date stamp affixed on the envelope.  Private postage meter date stamps are not acceptable.  In accordance with New York State Real Property Tax Law, a late charge must be assessed for any late payments.
